Religious Education

The Religion and Ethics GCSE takes into account that the main religion in Britain is Christianity, whilst taking into account the other religions represented. The course will involve a study of some fascinating concepts and ideas, encouraging the student to explore philosophical questions and deep ethical issues that one encounters throughout life. A recent change to the syllabus has ensured that the Religion and Ethics student will have a much more in-depth appreciation of religion but will still be able to explore the ethical and philosophical issues raised through their studies or from outside influences such as the media.
