  • 'Ballet Shoes' at the National Theatre

    Published 16/01/26

On Wednesday 4 January, six of our students travelled up to The National Theatre to see a new adaptation of Noel Streatfield's  'Ballet Shoes' as part of the New Views play writing course. The play itself was spectacular and deeply thought provoking. The students were particularly impressed by the inventive set design and innovative projection and lighting. We are certain that this production will provide inspiration for their own plays that have to be submitted in March.

Next week we welcome back professional playwright Stewart Melton who will be running his final workshop. We are all very much looking forward to it.
