Last Friday, Carisbrooke marked World Mental Health Day with a vibrant yellow-themed mufti day in support of Young Minds, a leading mental health charity for young people. The event was a powerful reminder of our commitment to supporting student wellbeing, and it was truly heartwarming to see the whole school community come together in solidarity.

We're thrilled to announce that thanks to the generosity of students, staff, and families, we raised an impressive £480.55 for Young Minds!

As part of the day's activities, Mrs Peckham organised a ‘Healthy Minds’ Fair during break and lunchtime. The event featured engaging, interactive activities focused on mental wellness, along with plenty of fresh fruit for students to enjoy. Feedback from pupils was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the fun, relaxed atmosphere and helpful tips for looking after their mental health.

At Carisbrooke, promoting positive mental health is a year-round priority, and events like these play a vital role in fostering awareness, empathy, and support across our school community.
