Santa Dash Spreads Festive Cheer!

On Friday 19 December, Carisbrooke College proudly hosted the fifth annual Santa Dash, organised by Mrs Peake, continuing a much-loved festive tradition that brings students and the community together for a great cause.

This year’s event saw a capacity entry of 250 students, all donning festive Santa hats as they completed the run from Carisbrooke College to Carisbrooke Castle and back. Upon their return, participants were rewarded with a commemorative medal and a well-deserved hot chocolate, helping to warm spirits after the run.

Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and generosity of our students and families, this year’s Santa Dash raised over £1,250, bringing the five-year total to an impressive £4,785 in support of the Wight Brainy Bunch Charity.

A huge thank you goes to the Carisbrooke College staff and The Island VI Form students who supported the event by running and marshalling, ensuring the safety and success of the day, as well as to the members of the public who came out to cheer on our students along the route. Your support made the event truly special.

Well done to everyone involved for making this year’s Santa Dash another fantastic success and a wonderful way to end the term on a festive and charitable note.
