Three of our young cricketers took to the field in the Island Indoor Cricket Championships in January representing their club side, Northwood Originals.  After beating Newport in their semi-final, they went head-to-head with their current rivals Ryde Rockets.  In what looked like being a close game throughout, Northwood held the upper hand after taking wickets consistently throughout the game, followed by holding off a late resurgence from Ryde, who started to take wickets of their own.  Eventually winning by 17 runs, Jenson, Jake and Harry were crowned Champions.  As we move towards the school's cricket season, we look forward to seeing what they can do and wish all the boys luck for the upcoming season.
