Students Shine In 'Night At The Musicals'

This Wednesday, our school hall was transformed into a vibrant stage for our much-anticipated Night at the Musicals concert - and what a night it was! With a packed audience and an electric atmosphere, the evening showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our students.
From powerful solo performances to energetic group numbers, every act was delivered with confidence, passion, and professionalism. Highlights included stunning songs from Frozen, Hamilton, The Greatest Showman, Cats, American Idiot, 9 to 5, Dear Evan Hansen, and many more, offering a rich and varied programme that kept the audience captivated throughout.
Our GCSE Performance students also impressed with their performance coursework showcases, demonstrating both their musical skill and dramatic flair.
We were also delighted that the event helped raise valuable funds for our Music Depar
tment. These contributions will go towards repairing and restringing some of our instruments and guitars, ensuring more students can continue to learn, rehearse, and perform. If you were unable to donate on the night and would like to contribute, click here or scan the QR code.
A huge congratulations to all performers and a heartfelt thank you to staff, supporters, and our wonderful audience for making the evening such a memorable success. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved - what a fantastic celebration of musical theatre! Look out for more details coming out after Easter about how to get involved in our next exciting musical event taking place on Wednesday 20 May: Battle of the Bands!
