This Key Stage 4 course provides students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to understand human growth and development, health and wellbeing, and the vital role that health and social care services play within society. Through the study of physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development, students gain an understanding of the factors that influence health and wellbeing and the ways in which individuals can be supported to achieve positive outcomes.

Assessment Framework: Pearson BTEC Tech Award Health and Social Care combines internally assessed coursework and externally assessed examination components evaluating care values and human health.
