At Key Stage 3, students develop a secure foundation in core numeracy and problem-solving skills, building depth and fluency over time through deliberate use of retrieval-based activities and the interleaving of 'big ideas'. Assessment Framework: Edexcel GCSE Mathematics is assessed through three written examinations evaluating mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and the confident application of mathematical concepts to real-world problems.
