Goodbye Miss He! 我们会想念你!

As we head into the final few weeks of term, it is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to our wonderful Chinese language assistant, Miss He. Since September, Miss He has been an invaluable member of staff here at Carisbrooke, playing a crucial role in helping students communicate effectively in Chinese through both speaking and writing, as well as pushing the year 11s to ensure their readiness for the GCSEs.

From day one, Miss He has brought not only exceptional language skills but also a genuine passion for bridging cultures and fostering understanding. Whether it was assisting in lessons, helping with assessments, facilitating conversation, or providing cultural insights, her work has consistently been marked by accuracy, dedication, and kindness.

We also want to acknowledge the patience and professionalism that Miss He has demonstrated in every lesson, regardless of year group, ability level or topic.

While it is difficult to say goodbye, we are truly grateful for the time, effort, and expertise that Miss He has invested in our school. The impact on students' progress has been significant, and her calm and knowledgeable presence inside the classroom will be deeply missed. We are confident that when she returns to China, she will bring the same level of excellence and dedication to whatever new opportunities lie ahead.

Thank you Wendy, for your invaluable support, your friendship, and your commitment to excellence in our school. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors, hope that your path continues to be filled with success and happiness and look forward to meeting up with you in October during our school trip to China!

From Mr Briscoe and all the staff and students at Carisbrooke College
