GCSE Success!

Students and staff at Carisbrooke College are celebrating today as Year 11 pupils receive their long-awaited GCSE results. These achievements mark the culmination of five years of dedication and effort, and they open the door to exciting next steps and bright futures.
Despite disruption to education caused by the pandemic, our students have demonstrated exceptional perseverance, resilience and determination. Their commitment has paid off, and we are immensely proud of what they have achieved both collectively and individually.
Many of our students will now continue their studies by embarking on A Level and vocational Level 3 courses both here on the Island and beyond. Others are taking up apprenticeships or other educational routes within employment.
Carisbrooke College congratulates all of our students on their results and looks forward to seeing them thrive in the next stage of their journeys.
Headteacher, Natalie Sheppard, said: “At Carisbrooke College, we strive to help every student discover their place in the world, grow in confidence and develop into successful young adults. I am incredibly proud of our Year 11 students – they have done themselves and the school proud, leaving us as ambitious, resilient and well-rounded individuals with exciting futures ahead.
This success is also a reflection of the commitment of our dedicated staff and the support of our parents and carers, who have worked in partnership to guide our students through their journey.
Our motto, ‘Education is our Castle’, is brought to life through these young people. They embody the strength, determination and kindness we value, and they leave us ready to embrace the opportunities ahead with hope and confidence. We send them forward with our heartfelt congratulations and very best wishes.”
