Year 11 Students Explore Future Pathways at Careers Fair

On 14 October, our Year 11 students attended a careers fair hosted at Medina Leisure Centre — an event designed to help them explore a wide range of post-16 opportunities.

The visit began with an engaging talk in the theatre, where students received an overview of the different pathways available after Year 11, including apprenticeships, sixth form and further education options. This informative session set the tone for the rest of the day and encouraged students to think about their futures.

Following the talk, students visited a bustling careers fair featuring a variety of local employers, colleges, and sixth form providers. The fair gave students the chance to ask questions, collect information and gain a clearer understanding of the options ahead.

Overall, it was an inspiring and informative day that helped students feel more confident about their next steps.
