Congratulations to Poppy and Elizabeth for proudly representing Carisbrooke at the Inter Schools Show Jumping competition held in Godshill last Friday.

Poppy had an unfortunate day, as her horse wasn't performing at its best, which resulted in an elimination. While it wasn't the outcome she had hoped for, she showed great determination and resilience throughout the competition.

Elizabeth enjoyed a good day of jumping. Riding Quest, producing a fantastic clear round in the first phase before just clipping a pole in the second, finishing with four faults. She then partnered Rascal to another clear round, cementing her place in the jump-off.

In the jump-off, Elizabeth achieved a time of 27.3 seconds, earning 2nd place on Rascal and 5th place on Quest. Overall the girls finished second in the combined team event. A fantastic achievement and a wonderful representation of the school.
