Ninety-four Year 7 students from Carisbrooke College enjoyed a fantastic day out at Splashdown Aqua Park in Poole on Tuesday with plenty of thrills, laughter and unforgettable memories from start to finish.

From the moment the doors opened, students (and staff!) threw themselves into the adventure, with many bravely taking on the fastest and steepest water slides the park has to offer. Whether racing friends to the bottom, conquering a slide for the very first time or simply enjoying the rapids, everyone embraced the day with enthusiasm and big smiles.

One of the most impressive aspects of the trip, however, wasn't just the courage shown on the slides—it was the mature attitude displayed by the students throughout the day. Their behaviour was exemplary, and their impeccable timekeeping meant that every meeting point was reached on schedule, allowing the entire trip to run like clockwork. It made for a smooth, enjoyable day for everyone involved and was a real credit to the college.

Of course, no school trip would be complete without a memorable journey home! The coach was filled with a cheerful—and exceptionally loud—sing-along that had everyone joining in (whether they wanted to or not!). It certainly ensured the return journey was one to remember.

A huge thank-you goes to the staff who gave up their time to plan the trip and make it possible: Ms O'Callaghan, Mrs Lythgoe, Ms Ezard, Miss Lee, Miss Osborne and Mr Westby. Their energy, enthusiasm and tireless efforts helped ensure the day was such a success.

Finally, a special mention must go to trip leader Mr Briscoe, whose excellent organisation ensured everything ran perfectly from beginning to end. He also deserves even greater congratulations for heroically enduring the enthusiastic (if somewhat off-key!) singing from the back of the coach all the way home. Now that's dedication!

Well done to all 94 Year 7 students for representing Carisbrooke College so brilliantly. It was a fantastic day full of fun, friendship and bravery—and one that will no doubt be remembered for a long time to come.
