GCSE Results 2026

Students and staff at Carisbrooke College are celebrating today as Year 11 students receive their GCSE and vocational results, marking the culmination of five years of hard work, dedication, and transformation.
This results day highlights the strength of the college's vibrant, highly inclusive community. Carisbrooke takes immense pride in its rich and varied curriculum offer- a true tapestry of academic and vocational pathways designed to spark inspiration in each and every student. From core academics to high-value vocational qualifications like Health and Social Care, BTEC Sport, Food Technology, and Mandarin, the curriculum ensures that every young person finds their passion, thrives, and builds a bespoke platform for their future.
Underpinning these outcomes is an exceptional culture of care. Dedicated staff do not just teach; they nurture, encourage, and believe relentlessly in every single child. They forge deep, trusting relationships with students, walking alongside them through every challenge until they realise their full potential.
From top attainers to students who faced significant hurdles - and for whom parents once feared sitting a single exam was out of reach, let alone sitting every paper and achieving grades - today is a triumphant proof of what happens when a school believes in every child. Whether starting from the weakest academic baseline or the most able, students at Carisbrooke flourish because the school meets them where they are and refuses to put a ceiling on their ambition.
The hall was filled with happy, emotional parents celebrating their children's success, highlighting the powerful partnership between home and school that makes these achievements possible.

Headteacher, Natalie Sheppard, said: “Today is an absolute joy, and it is a privilege to celebrate our Year 11 students and the wonderful journeys they have taken during their time at Carisbrooke College. From the moments of doubt to the moments of triumph, our staff have nurtured these young people every step of the way through relationships rooted in care, trust, and unshakeable belief.
“It has been deeply moving to speak with so many proud, happy parents today- especially those who once wondered if their child would even manage to sit these exams, only to see them sit every single one and achieve grades they can carry into their future with pride. That is what true inclusion looks like.
“Our motto, ‘Education is our Castle’, reflects our commitment to providing a safe, inspiring environment and a varied curriculum that gives every child the firmest foundations. From our highest achievers to those who have overcome profound personal barriers, every student has proved that with the right support, there are no limits to what they can achieve. We could not be prouder of them.”
Carisbrooke College warmly congratulates the Class of 2026 and looks forward to watching them continue to flourish in the years ahead.
