Carisbrooke College is delighted to announce the permanent appointment of Natalie Sheppard as Headteacher. With a proven track record of leadership across both primary and secondary education, Natalie brings a wealth of experience and a passionate commitment to student success.

“I am incredibly excited to take on the role of permanent Headteacher at Carisbrooke College,” said Natalie. “Our core values—Equity, Pupils First, Courage, Ambition, Excellence, and Sustainability—are central to our mission to become a true centre of teaching excellence.”

With previous leadership roles in London and Portsmouth, Natalie has spearheaded major initiatives, including the development of a Microsoft Showcase School and expanding alternative provision tailored to individual student needs. Natalie’s focus has always been on ensuring every child receives the best education.

Carisbrooke College is also proud to play a leading role in training the next generation of teachers and leaders through its island-based HISP training hub. “We are inspired by our commitment to work on the Island, for the Island, in strong partnership with the local authority, other schools, and local businesses,” Natalie added.
