It has been another busy and productive week here at school.
On Monday 15 September, our school photographers will be on site to take individual student photographs. These will be available for parents to purchase in the weeks following. Please ensure that your child is aware of this, so they can look their very best!
Our Year 7 students continue to settle in extremely well. As part of our ongoing efforts to support this transition, they will be heading to Tapnell Aqua Park next Thursday. This exciting trip is designed to encourage new friendships and develop Teamwork, which is one of our CASTLE values.
We’ve experienced a few wet breaks and lunchtimes this week due to the changing weather. The students have coped with this really well, showing patience and resilience. However, we do ask that all students come to school dressed appropriately for the weather, including bringing a hooded waterproof coat to keep dry on their way to and from school.
We have finalised our extra-curricular clubs and activities schedule for the term ahead. These opportunities allow students to explore interests beyond the classroom, try something new, and build valuable life skills. Please click here for a full list of what is available.
This week we launched our new after-school restorative detentions to tackle behaviour which is against our CASTLE values of Learning and Equity. We are so proud of the way our students have responded to this, with some of our Year 11s role modelling excellence in attending these after school and making an effort to get back on track. Thank you parents for supporting this initiative.
Finally, a reminder to all parents and carers: if you haven’t already done so, please download the Arbor App. It’s packed with useful information about your child’s school life, including attendance, timetables, school notices and behaviour updates.
Have a lovely weekend.
