It’s been another busy and rewarding week here at school, filled with activity and achievement.
We kicked off the week with school photographers in on Monday. All students had their individual photos taken, and we’re looking forward to sharing these with you soon. Details on how to view and purchase the photographs will be sent out in the coming weeks.
After school sporting fixtures are in full swing, and it’s fantastic to see so many students taking part in our extra-curricular programme. Whether competing or supporting in sporting fixtures, joining after school/lunchtime clubs, the students' commitment, enthusiasm and team spirit make us extremely proud. Remembering our Castle Values - there was some excellent Teamwork on show. A big thank you also goes to the staff for giving up their time for these valuable events.
A highlight of the week was Year 7’s trip to the Aqua Park on Thursday. The trip was a huge success for building teamwork and the joy was written all over their faces! It was wonderful to see them challenge themselves, support one another and most importantly, have fun.
As part of Carisbrooke College's commitment to upholding the 'Castle Values', each tutor group has created its own unique class charter. These charters serve as a symbolic representation of how each class will actively embody and promote the College's core values in their daily activities and interactions. We are proud of the effort and creativity that has gone into these charters, and we believe they will help foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students. Here is an example from 8A.

Emails were sent to all parents this week with a link to consent to your child having a flu vaccination in school. If you would like your child to have the vaccine, consent must be given. If you have any problems accessing the link, please contact the school.
We are looking forward to the school trip to China which leaves on 10 October. What an amazing opportunity for our students. As a reminder, there will be an information evening for parents and students who are attending this trip next Wednesday 24 September in the school hall, at 6pm.
Have a lovely weekend.
